Altogether there are 7 Four- Star recruits that have either already signed letters of intent or they are verbally committed. That is the highest number of 4 Star recruits that TCU has ever had. And there are currently 12 Three-Star recruits awaiting to sign. This year's recruiting class is rated 20th in the nation and second in the Big-12.
The wild card is that they don't always sign, but sometimes you get ones at the last minute that you weren't expecting. The beautiful thing is that Coach P has taken primarily Three-Star young men and turned them into a team that can compete with anyone. Imagine the possibilities of what he can do with this this year's class.
Don't ever imagine that this level of recruiting is easy. Not everyone wants to be a Horned Frog. It starts with having a highly successful program over a period of years. If it were not for the last two seasons great records and especially the two bowl victories, we would not be looking at such a great recruiting class. If were not for the outstanding assistant coaches who visit the high schools, we would not be enjoying the prospects of the coming seasons. If it were not for the scrupulous reputation of Coach P, we would not be considering the possibilities of how far the Horned Frogs will go in the 2016-2017 seasons.
Can't wait!
These are the hard commits from the Community Colleges that have already signed letters of intent |
These are verbal commits from high school seniors that we hope will sign on February 3rd |
Just for the record, we are the smallest University on the list. |
