Did you really think we would win them all?

A more faithful fan does not exist, but I must admit that from the beginning, I have been skeptical  we could win them all. I have been delighted to see that we have nine wins so far this year. Don't wail in despair over a couple of  losses, look at what this team has accomplished. They really carried it to Oklahoma, keeping the game in play up until the final seconds of the game. I assure you that they were holding their breath until the clock finally ran out. There are a lot of excellent teams this year and we could easily have lost some of those nine games. To have lost only two games, and those after losing Boykin and Doctson, is a real credit to this team.

Now we are down to one regular season game and it is really the game that we have all waited for since last year. If you are a true TCU fan, you want to beat Baylor most of all. Since they feel the same way, it is always an entertaining game. They are only 80 miles away, but the schools are worlds apart in caring for each other.

Last year the Frogs had the game safely tucked away and the Bears did the impossible as they overcame a 21 point deficit in the fourth quarter and won the game. We owe them one. Regardless of who is hurt and who plays, our young men remember last year and this is the game that they want to win more than any other game all year. Let the talking heads talk their heads off, we will be ready to take them to the mat for the count. This is the game that counts more than any other. Frogs will take it to the Bears.
